After two reports, every member nearby can be warned
Members in the same area will share one list. Nobody can browse it. Another member's door gets an alert only when a person reported by two businesses walks in, perhaps weeks or months later. Socioculus must first confirm that both reports show the same person.
Alerts work only when businesses near you join. After you sign up, we will tell you how many businesses near your postcode have joined.
Nobody can search the list
Members get alerts. They never get a gallery of faces to look through.
Reports stay in your local area
A report goes only to members in the same area. We may work with local business crime reduction partnerships later. We will not give them the list or any report unless our impact assessment and this page say so first.
Reports do not last for ever
Each report is deleted automatically 6 months after the last report about that person, or 12 months after it where violence or threats were reported. A new report restarts the time, but never past a fixed maximum. Our impact assessment will set that maximum, and we will publish it.
Every other face is deleted
A face code that does not match is deleted at once. There is no visitor list and no tracking from one business to the next.
